The launch and operation of a 5G fixed wireless access (FWA) and 5G cell network, initially in Jersey, with a live trial provided by a global telecommunications vendor in early 2022. This will be delivered on a cloud based 5G core with a local RAN and CPE. Network rollout is planned to start in Q2 2022 with commercial service expected in Q4 2022.

We expect to roll out of 5G cell services in Guernsey in 2023.  Clear Mobitel will provide off-island connectivity via a fully redundant radio link to France where it will transit to internet exchanges in Paris and London.

Our company will provide retail and customer services on island and will have these facilities based in a large island retail organization.

The core cloud-based network will connect individual mobile subscribers and fixed wireless access customers via a radio access network which in turn will connect to customer premises via small external equipment.

Clear Mobitel will set a pricing model on the island by providing innovative pricing models based on individual subscriber needs.
